Eligibility
Minimum qualification for admission First year B.Pharm: Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. B.Pharm lateral entry (to third semester): A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Course Duration
The course of study for B.Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Every candidate enrolled in the Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program is required to complete practical training in a recognized Pharmaceutical Manufacturing House, Approved Hospital, or CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) research laboratories. This training is crucial for hands-on experience in the field and must span a minimum of 150 hours, completed over at least 45 days. This training is typically undertaken after the completion of the third or fourth year of the program.
Upon completion of the practical training, the candidate must prepare a detailed training report. This report should be produced in two copies, certified by the authorities at the training center where the training was conducted. The report must also be reviewed and endorsed by the Head of the Department.
Additionally, during their final year, candidates are expected to visit various pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. These visits are intended to enhance their academic training and provide real-world exposure to the pharmaceutical industry. A comprehensive report on these visits must be submitted to the Head of the Department for evaluation.
