The B.Sc. Optometry Programme is of 3 years duration and 6 months internship. The course of study is prescribed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The medium of instruction is English only. This programme of study leads to B.Sc. Optometry Degree offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
Career in optometry
Optometry is a challenging but rewarding profession. Graduates can work in hospitals, lens and instrument companies, optical, research, academics, and specialty clinics.
Eligibility:
- To be eligible for the program, you must have passed class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
- You must have studied science with biology as your stream in school.
- You must have scored at least 50% to 55% in the qualifying exam.
- You must be at least 17 years old by November 1st of the year you apply.
