Eligibility

Should have completed Pre- University course (10+2) pass with 45% marks in aggregate, in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology withEnglish as the medium of study.

Attendance
80 percent of total classes to be attended in a year in all the subjects seperately in theory and practical/clinical to be eligible for university examination in the first attempt.

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a full-time program designed to provide a comprehensive, hands-on education that emphasizes client-centered care, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
Year I : The focus is on foundational human biosciences, helping students understand the basics of the human body’s systems and the role of health professionals within the health and welfare sectors.
Year II : Students begin to develop core physiotherapy skills while deepening their knowledge in biosciences, including areas such as pathology and pharmacology.
Years III & IV : As students advance, they apply their theoretical knowledge and practical skills to physiotherapy management for a variety of disorders across different stages of life.
Throughout the program, particularly in the pre-clinical semesters, students hone their practical physiotherapy skills in a simulated learning environment and through peer practice.
Examination
Internal assessment
Regular periodic examinations are conducted through out the cours . Three sessional examiation are conducted during I, II, III and final year. Avarage of the 3 examination marks are reduced to 20 and 10 for theory and practicals respectivly . Students must obtain 35% marks in theory and practicals respectively to be eligible for university examinations.
Exam schedule
University exams for the first,second, third and final year are held at the end of the session with prior intimation from the university (generally sep-oct ). Examination of the main subjects are held by the university whereas the subsidary subjects are conducted by the college.
Criteria for pass
Main subjects- 50% marks in both theory and practicals seperately. Theory marks are computed by adding the internal assessment marks and the viva voice to the university exams.
