B.Sc. Forensic Sciences: Admission Process
Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s performance at the 10+2 level. Institutes offering the course admit students based on whether they meet the minimum, set cut- off scores at the 10+2 level. Every student is required to complete a mandatory one-year internship, in accordance with Appendix-C regulations. Minimum Marks For Passing Examination

Hospital Posting
Every student shall be posted in constituent hospital for a period of not less than seventy five hours to be covered in not less than 200 working days in each of second, third & fourth year course. In the fifth year, every student shall spend half a day in the morning hours attending ward rounds on daily basis as a part of clerkship.
Project Work
To allow the student to develop data collection and reporting skills in the area of community, hospital and clinical pharmacy, a project work shall be carried out under the supervision of a teacher. The project topic must be approved by the Head of the Department or Head of the Institution. Project work shall be presented in a written report and as a seminar at the end of the year. External and the internal examiners shall do the assessment of the project work.
Internal Assessment Marks
Theory
Three sessional examinations evenly spread during the academic year shall be conducted and the average marks of the best two examinations shall be computed out of a maximum 30 marks and shall constitute the sessional marks in theory.
Practical
Students are required to complete the experiments outlined in their respective syllabus. The average of the two highest practical exam scores will be calculated, with a maximum of 30 marks. When awarding sessional marks for practical experiments, the following criteria will be considered:

Regular periodic examinations are conducted through out the cours . Three sessional examiation are conducted during I, II, III and final year. Avarage of the 3 examination marks are reduced to 20 and 10 for theory and practicals respectivly . Students must obtain 35% marks in theory and practicals respectively to be eligible for university examinations.
Exam schedule
University exams for the first,second, third and final year are held at the end of the session with prior intimation from the university (generally sep-oct ). Examination of the main subjects are held by the university whereas the subsidary subjects are conducted by the college.
Criteria for pass
Main subjects- 50% marks in both theory and practicals seperately. Theory marks are computed by adding the internal assessment marks and the viva voice to the university exams.
